Mediospirifer Posted October 25, 2014 Share Posted October 25, 2014 I had this nodule open recently, unfortunately in several pieces. I've superglued them back together to best show the inclusion, and here's the result: It might be possible to flake off another piece from the top of the righthand part to reveal more of the fossil, but it didn't come easily and i don't want to force it. I'd rather keep it as it is than risk damaging the piece. If anyone has a suggestion for that, I'll consider trying it. This is the best picture I have at the moment. If anyone wants to see a closeup, it'll have to be through the microscope. My camera isn't the best. I know what I think the critter looks like, but I'd like to see other opinions before I say.
