He was a giving it his best, but with the compound injury to his leg he probably fed a bobcat or raccoon that night.... The pic was a tip of the hat to your interests.

Barry, the lower half is prepped as in Dan's report. I worked on the upper half some more yesterday. I've got about a third completed using a Dremel engraver...(no snickering from the air scribe preppers :P ) The matrix is as hard as concrete in places....soon, I hope.

Great finds guys.

On a side note I thought at first that the red ammonite from the Corsicana was huge, thinking that was your shoe in the background for scale, not your glove... my bad.

BTW that buck apparently was successful in hiding two huge echinoids from you guys, yes, in his mouth!
