Doesn't matter what kind of animal one might postulate, or whether one argues for the pointy end to be the apex or the root... neither end on any of the specimens has any features that would support diagnosis as tooth beyond having an approximate tooth or claw-like overall shape. If that were the only criterion required to claim "tooth", then my garden must have been a veritable stomping ground for prehistoric reptilia... but sadly it wasn't. The faceting is typical of mechanically fractured chert, as is the general appearance of the exterior.
