PaleoRon
I was going through some of my fossils recently and thought I would share some pics of a couple of megs that I found a few years ago. They were found in the same hole on a single dive. These two teeth are similarly shaped but from opposite sides of the lower jaw. They are around 5 inches and the color is more vibrant than a lot of the other red teeth that I have found. Let's see some red/red-ish teeth from other members. PaleoRon
Thanks for the kind replies. Here is one in the process of being cleaned. As you can see from the right corner, they aren't very attractive when they come out of the water.

Megatooth Collector
Excellent! I should be getting my first Red Site meg next month. I have to purchase it of course since I don't live anywhere near that region. Very nice finds!
PaleoRon
Here is what I typically use to clean them. I use a moist green nylon scratch pad, baking soda, and scrub like crazy. If that doesn't get everything off I use a damaged mako tooth or some diatomaceous earth that I collected from the Edisto River in S.C. I have a couple of highly encrusted teeth that I am saving until I get my micro air tools set up again. DeloiVarden
Great teeth guys! Occasionally I find similarly colored teeth in Ace Basin, SC. My favorite is the angustidens in my profile/icon pic. Those two megs that started this thread are the two best red site megs I have ever seen!
