thair
Recently my son and I went out one afternoon to check out a new site. The sight has been created by excavation for road base on some private property near Lake Brownwood so we were hoping that they had exposed some fossil layers. We only had about one hour before we had to be back to town by the time we reached the sight so this was a quick hunt. Pictured below is some of what we found in that short time. I am planning to go back to the sight when we have more time since it seems to be very promising.

BobWill
Now you need to find out where the road base will be used. The road crew will have it all spread out, you just walk along and pick up the fossils. Is the road they're building on private property too? Shamalama
Definitely worth a trip back.
