If it is from a reputable dealer then you should be confident in its' authenticity, if you don't not know the dealer then buyer beware. I am sure others will chime in with there opinions but as I stated a better picture will be required. A fossil hunter needs sharp eyes and a keen search image, a mental template that subconsciously evaluates everything he sees in his search for telltale clues. -Richard E. piranha Posted November 22, 2014 Share Posted November 22, 2014 Unfortunately this trilobite suffers from crude prep and poor preservation, but nonetheless it appears to be authentic.
