Lensmann Posted November 25, 2014 Share Posted November 25, 2014 Hi Folks, About a year back I was reading on this site about a creek in SW Washington that has agate and also agatized amomonites...cant seen to find the posts anymore and want to visit this creek. FossilDAWG Posted November 25, 2014 Share Posted November 25, 2014 The only agatized Washington "ammonites" I can recall being discussed were Aturia, which is actually a nautilod. If you search the forums for Aturia I suspect you'll find a number of posts. However I don't recall that anyone ever gave the name of the creek, as posting detailed locality info would be an excellent way to get such a locality picked clean in the blink of an eye.
