I have seen well-preserved fish on the market recently, ascribed to that location, which is claimed to be a new/recent find area. I haven’t seen it described more precisely than “Late Cretaceous”. The fish are also being claimed in some cases as undescribed species, although the formation appears to include Triplomystus spp.

The formation is said to be sublithographic limestone similar to that in Lebanese Lagerstatte deposits, where Triplomystus spp. are also found. The Lebanon deposits (at Namoura) are Cenomanian (100.5 - 93.9 Ma) although they are over 2,000 miles away of course. They’re also reported from the Aptian of Mexico (125.0 - 113.0 Ma).

Thanks for the reply. I guess precise info on the specimens from this formation still has not been established yet. I remember a couple of years ago seeing specimens from this site for the first time, but I guess years later the amount of info available has not increased much.
