MOROPUS Posted December 28, 2007 Share Posted December 28, 2007 Well, there is another strange fossil to id, from the devonic slates of the Pirinees Range.It looks a lot to some kind of branched "sponge".This rocks are all covered with crinoid parts, brachiopods (spiriferids), and some odontochile and their relatives trilobs (I will post some lately). Guest solius symbiosus Posted January 5, 2008 Share Posted January 5, 2008 The branched thing looks like a cross section of a columnal of pentacrinites, but I don't remember their range. Though, it could be some other crinoid/blastoid/cystoid columnal. EDIT: Regarding the other, some kind of negative of an internal mold. Without any structure, it would be hard to name.
