I have definitely seen the same thing happen to some NJ teeth. It probably happens when the carinae are weak to begin with. Any type of polishing/abrasion of this sort can obscure those fine details.

Seems like the more I go through my teeth the more I find! This one is also round and has no carinae. Right at 3/4" long, 3/8" wide

this one looks like a croc

Seems like the more I go through my teeth the more I find! This one is also round and has no carinae. Right at 3/4" long, 3/8" wide
