Port Hope On

Hi everyone , I found this trilobite in Port Hope along the Ganaraska river a few years back and was wondering if I could find out a bit more information on this . Thank you

According to this geologic map of Ontario, the area where you found the trilobite is Ordovician in age.

It looks to me like a Flexicalymene sp., (Maybe Flexicalymene senaria?) but hold off printing a label for it until the experts have weighed in. ;)

A quick google search pulled up info on the Cobourg Formation as a possible formation to start researching. Also look into the Trenton Group, if you would like further information as well.

From Port Hope, it is more likely to be Flexicalymene croneisi and would be from the Cobourg aka Lindsay formation
