Hi everyone,

There are a few times, I found this funny thing on the beach of carnon, mediterranean coast.

I do not think it is plastic, it's rather thick pearl effect ...

If anyone knows what it could be, it's will be super!

Thank you in advance!

It resembles the Rough Pinna (Pinna rudis), but it is spinier than what is typical.

Definitely a Pinna, aa pen shell. This is a species of bivalve that burrows into sand ans attaches by way of a hairy byssus, sometimes called the beard, which entangles pebbles and other debris to anchor itself.

Third vote for a modern Pinna shell, bit unusual as a beach find with so much detail. The ones I've seen are a bit more worn.
