I’ll trade you for some Devonian marine fossils from a Devonian reef or a colourful ammonite or fossilized fish scales.

He isn't interested in those types of fossils.

You have a common, polished Madagascaran ammonite. The OP is asking for heteromorph ammonites:

dinosaurman. Please don't take this the wrong way but all of the fossils that you have been offering to trade are not near the value of what some of the other members have. What you have offered are very common fossils that most people would not be interested in. You also either don't post pictures, or the pictures are somewhat shadowed are difficult to see.

These words are not meant to be harsh at all, and I really do hope you stick around learn more about fossils. As you become more informed, you will get a better understanding of the value and rarity of certain fossils, and then can make better offers to members for potential trades.

This is just friendly advice :)

Hey man, the thing is that people want rare fossils in return for rare fossils.

You can't expect to trade common fossils for rare fossils because it wouldn't be fair for the other party.

Looking forward to meeting my fellow Singaporean collectors! Do PM me if you are a Singaporean, or an overseas fossil-collector coming here for a holiday!

I thought Mosasaur teeth were common and not expensive.

Fossil hunting is easy -- they don't run away when you shoot at them!

The ones from Morocco that are found by the thousands are very common and inexpensive.

But rarer specimens like those being offered are not at all common due to the location found.
