TMadam
I've found air scribes and I've found pneumatic engravers and I've found air scribes / pneumatic engravers. What is the difference in what happens at the tip? I can't find a clear explanation. Thanks, Adam
Raggedy Man
Just the tip ...OK ok that was horrible. Different tips use the air differently depending on the job. Some act as a mini jack hammer by using the air like a piston. Other tips use the air flow differently by creating angular momentum...rotation. I hope that this clears up any questions you may have had. Best regards, Paul Edited February 24, 2015 by Raggedy Man ...I'm back.
RJB
Ingravers have a tip that is much less 'cone' shaped than an airscribe which has a much piontier tip. Engravers are ussualy made for Metal and not rock. Hope you like my spelling? Ha! I don't have a picture of the kind of tip that an engraver has but here is a picture of some tips I use for my airscribes. RB
