A Few Sc Shark Teeth

Here are a few of my nicer finds from South Carolina.

The Parotodus benedeni picture:

-Largest tooth measures 2 7/8" on the slant

-The 2 smallest benis are Oligocene and have vestigial cusps

The Carcharocles auriculatus picture:

-Largest tooth measures 3"

-All from Eocene Limestone Quarry

Hope the pics turn out well, I will try to post some pics regularly.

That many benedeni's, all with their tips, WOW. I heard someone say once that they must have eaten rocks since the vast majority have tip damage. Nice finds

There's no limit to what you can accomplish when you're supposed to be doing something else
