Highlander
Hello Dear forumers! I found an amonite which type i never found untill yesterday. Dimensions: length of piece about 5mm If it possible please help me with id of type of ammonite and time, when they lived. I have some problems with time id because i just had scouting new clays, and layers in that zone are mixed, so i can`t understand is it jurassic, or cretaceous. Thankfull in advance. TqB
I'm not at all an expert but perhaps Creniceras (Oxfordian)? Tarquin

Ludwigia
Creniceras is probable, but it could also be C.crenatum. Coryceras sp. is however also a possibility. Unfortunately with it being incomplete, it's almost impossible to judge. Edited March 2, 2015 by Ludwigia Greetings from the Lake of Constance.
