Fossil Claw
I am thinking about buying this Eubrontes track. How can I tell if it is real?
Auspex
Looks good to me in the images, and I am not aware of a tradition of forgery of these. If it is in actual rock (not cast), it should be genuine (I think it is safe to say that it is not carved). Where is it from? Fossildude19
It's real. People don't usually fake the negatives. I see micaceous inclusions in the break, so the matrix is real. That price is well within the "norm," as traded on eBay. Auspex
...now I just need to figure out how to ship it safely. The best practice I know is to double box it: Pack it tightly with foam peanuts in a sealed box, then pack that box tightly with foam peanuts in a larger box.
