sixgill pete Posted March 11, 2015 Share Posted March 11, 2015 (edited) Over the years I have searched an untold amount of 5 gallon buckets of Lee Creek matrix. I have found thousands of small shark teeth and many other common and not so common items. Whale shark, Cat shark, Bramble shark and even one of the few (at least that I know of) Basking shark. But until last night I have never found a Lee Creek Cookie Cutter. The matrix it came from is about 6 or so years old. It came from a pile I have in the back yard. (I have posted about this pile many times) The same matrix I have sent out to many forum members. The tooth is a little beat up, not in the best of shape but it fills an empty spot in my Lee Creek collection. And now that the ice has been broken, it is only a matter of time before I find another, better specimen. I actually found my first Manta hynei tooth in some of my Lee Creek matrix after 4 years of searching but have been to busy (i.e. lazy) to photograph it.
