Hovland
Hi, I wondered if these could be real? they look very nice, but are almost too perfecte. Particularly I think the last seems strange since it has "eyes".

oilshale
One US seller in Maryland and various Chinese sellers constantly offer at ebay faked Sinohydrosaurus, Manchurochelys and from time to time also "birds". This US seller sold more than 200 of them. All Polyester inlays. http://www.thefossilforum.com/index.php?/topic/45000-fake-chinese-vertebrate-fossils-on-ebay Thomas Be not ashamed of mistakes and thus make them crimes (Confucius, 551 BC - 479 BC). Fossildude19
I have been looking at the ones with the red backgrounds, and laughing at the poor carving and paint jobs. I can't believe people actually bid on these, but they do - and up into the hundreds of dollars. Yes, they are all fakes. Hovland
Isnt there anything we could do? Report to ebay or something. I feel reaily bad for the people who bids on them. Maby not the brightest, but anyway.
oilshale
I did send an email to ebay, but they don't care. The only thing which would work - but only temporarily - is to buy fossils, open up complaint cases and give a negative feedback. If the feedback percentage drops too low, ebay will look into their business.and might shut them down. But next week, they will reappear under a different name. No chance.
