Diceros Posted April 2, 2015 Share Posted April 2, 2015 Although the three fossils chopped and polished out of black Moroccan limestone are certainly straight nautiloids, I don't think they're Orthoceras any more. Besides, they're e. Devonian, not Ordovician like most true Orthoceras. I think you can make out the siphuncle toward the top of the ones on the left and right.
