Fossil Claw
Cincinnati Arch Brachiopod plates. Freshly collected yesterday at the Route 1 highway cut near St Leone Indiana. Range from 2” by 2” to 4 by 6” in size. I have about 12 and then a bunch on lose weathered out finds. I am only an hour away and can get more. Will trade for all sorts of other fossils. Interested in: Crinoids, crab, fish, ammonites, lobster, Great white teeth Turtle or other eggs dino teeth. Whale, dino, mammal or shark vertebrae. Mammoth, mastodon or buffalo bones.. Interesting marine plates that are not coral. Mammal teeth. Interesting plants. Don’t need: Phacops trilobite, squalicorax and nurse shark teeth. Most common shark teeth ( I bought a large lot recently). Edited March 29, 2015 by Fossil Claw
Fossil Claw
Mouse over the picture and refer to the picture number in your trade request. Fossils in the Cincinnati Arch are extremely well preserved compared to other sites around the world. It would be hard to find better brachiopod examples in other locations. Thank you. FossilDAWG
With all due respect, I think you need to be realistic about what you can expect in trade. The fossils you offer are very common and can be obtained from many areas, and you are asking for fossils that require for the most part require hundreds of hours of searching to find a single good specimen, and many more hours to prep. Fossil Claw
With all due respect, I am just listing my interests. There are both common and uncommon items on my list of interests. People can decide for themselves what they want to trade or not trade for the fossils in the pictures. I have no preconceived notion of what people will want to trade. What is more common here is not common in some parts of the country or world. Even for more common items if you like them but have no access to them you may find value in trading for them. I have personally traded things of more value for more common items i don't have access to in my area. If you have no interest in the fossils why even post negative comments. FossilDAWG
Fair enough. Nothing ventured nothing gained I suppose. Good luck. Don
