LanceH Posted March 15, 2009 Share Posted March 15, 2009 Found this Saturday March 14th in the Grayson shale in north Texas. It's a Pycnodont fish dentition. I'm posting because you don't see these very often. If you found an individual tooth free you might not know it was a tooth. You can see more complete examples on the Oceans of Kansas site. The large tooth plate on there that was found south of Belleville KS with the before and after cleaning is one I found and donated to the museum. It now resides in a drawer in the back of the museum.
