RJB Posted May 21, 2015 Share Posted May 21, 2015 Here is a lobster found in the Bear Paw Shales and Ive just started the prep. It seems to have a purty good tail end but for right now I can only see one finger of the claw. That scares me. As you can see, these look very messy when you start! The are super fractured and these lobsters are the hardest things ive ever prepped!!! Bar none!!! Im not sure how long this is going to take me, but I will keep posting updates as I go along. RJB Posted May 23, 2015 Author Share Posted May 23, 2015 Ok, I went on the attack again on this beast! Very very fractured! I did cut one piece and glued it into place and then took off a bunch more fracture rock while glueing here and there so the dang thing doesn't fall apart, but a very long ways to go still but this is what it takes to get it ready for scribing. There will be a heck of a lot more glueing yet!!! Im just hoping that the other 'finger' for the big claw is there and also hoping that the other smaller claw is there too?
