Salty
Just as a heads up-there is a new book out to help ID teeth. It's a very interesting little book, It's 130 pages long, and it's called, "Shark Tooth Hunting on the Carolina Coast" by Ashley Oliphant. She does a pretty good job, however I am a beginner. The book is definitely bent towards those who are starting collecting. She has photos with descriptions and its very helpful., especially for those who are new like me. Just thought I would post this as we are always looking for new stuff! It covers NC and SC.
sixgill pete
If you really want a good book for ID'ing shark teeth from NC (and SC to some degree) get Volume 3, Fossil Fish from the NC Fossil Club. It has just recently been released and covers fish and shark, has excellent photography and species descriptions.
