I bought this trilobite in a fossil market-place...It cames from Morocco, but the dealer didn't tell me the geological period (I believe it was from Moroccan Devonian)...Is it real or fake?If it is real, what is the specie?

I would say that this trilo appears to be mostly real.

There seems to be some reconstruction (or breakage) on the cephalon as noted in the picture.

The shape and texture are off from the other side.

You could take a red hot needle to it to test for resin.

The rest looks OK to me.

I agree with Fossildude19, the left librigena was either missing or badly damaged, and has been reconstructed. Other than that, the specimen is genuine, although a bit poorly prepped. Cornuproetus is a good candidate, but I would personally consider the closely related Diademaproetus as an option, too. Look at the anterior margin of the head section: is there a flattened, protruding preglabellar field? Example: Diademaproetus

It might be more subtle, there are many species of Diademaproetus. Example. In any case, Cornuproetus does not have that.

The strong tubercles on the thorax are remarkable.

Age-wise, you're likely in the middle devonian, eifelian with this one.
