Rockin' Ric
Hello Ya'll, went fossil collecting recently and came across these specimens. Carboniferous / Parkwood Formation / Alabama, USA. Could this be an impression of the organism leaving the resting traces??? What say you? They are approximately the size of a dime. Resting traces. Claw marks of a larger Limulid and Diplichnites. WELCOME TO ALL THE NEW MEMBERS! If history repeats itself, I'm SO getting a dinosaur. ~unknown www.rockinric81.wixsite.com/fossils

Being as they are lined up, it seems they could have been caused by locomotion, but as to by what, I am at a complete loss.
