-Andy-
Last month there was a dinosaur event at a shopping mall, and the organizers invited me to display my fossils, as well as give dino talks, quizzes and storytelling sessions from my book. I'm excited to share the pics with everyone. Looking forward to meeting my fellow Singaporean collectors! Do PM me if you are a Singaporean, or an overseas fossil-collector coming here for a holiday! -Andy-
All the fossils on display were loaned from my house. Looking forward to meeting my fellow Singaporean collectors! -Andy-
The best thing about this was being able to share my love of dinosaurs with children and adults alike, handing them little fossil gift-aways, doing book signings, educating the masses about "raptors" having feathers, and being able to see dozens of kids jumping and shouting, "T-REX!" whenever I asked what their favorite dinosaur was. All the thanks go to my amazing dad for taking the time to come down every night to show support and help me transport my fossils. Looking forward to meeting my fellow Singaporean collectors! Down under fossil hunter
Awesome story Andy! You are a champion, going down every day setting up your displays with help from your dad. It must have been a blast.
Troodon
Very nice and it looks like you did a great job and had a lot of fun doing it. It helps when you have a great collection as supporting cast members.
snolly50
I very much enjoyed viewing your report. The photos nicely portrayed the crowd's engagement with your presentation. It was a delight to see the young ones hands raised for questions and the wonder reflected in their faces. Congratulations on an outstanding event. Ludwigia
I'll go along with Snolly. My reaction on seeing the photos of an enraptured audience young and old was quite similar to his. Looks like you enjoyed the event and got some publicity for your book as well! Keep up the good work! Greetings from the Lake of Constance. -Andy-
Aw you guys are making me blush. Awesome story Andy! You are a champion, going down every day setting up your displays with help from your dad. It must have been a blast. Yes it was a blast! I only set up the displays on the first day. I've got a day job, so in the morning, the mall had some helpers to bring out my fossils from the guardroom to be displayed. They didn't always do a good job though, so when I came down during the evenings for the talks, I also rearranged my fossils. Terrific, Andy! That looks like a fantastic presentation and display. Your enthusiasm is evident and the children obviously enjoyed it. Your dad must be proud. Yes, I am so lucky to have him support my hobby. Looking forward to meeting my fellow Singaporean collectors!
