My First Micros From Post Oak Creek

Just starting to sort through all of the fine gravel from Post Oak Creek that I collected on July 11, and I've found these so far. Scale on lower right is in mm.

Tooth bottom left looks interesting, maybe a stand alone pic would be revealing----Tom

I have been sorting some of this matrix that I got from silverphinex. It does have some nice teeth in it, and it looks like You are off to a good start!!

Tony

PS I think the "tooth" that Foshunter asked about is a rostal dentical. ( saw-fish nose tooth)

I was wondering about that myself. I need to get a better photo of it.

Here are some better shots. Once again, scale is in mm.

The broken end of the fossil. (A touch blurred, trying to focus this digital microscope on it & hit the Photo button was a job that needed 3 hands!)

Thanks Mike for the pic's, it is a fish tooth but from what, that is the question. It is a beautiful example but for Cretaceous fish teeth, there isn't a lot of ID info. out there-----Tom
