BobWill
I recently got a "pluggable" brand USB 2.0 Digital Microscope from Amazon for $35. I then got some 1/4 20 all-thread and some extension nuts to add to the length of the stand bracket for longer shots and cut some pieces to different lengths. One is visible attached to the bracket and another is on the observation stand. With a range of 60x-250x and a resolution of 1600 x 1200 it will do still and video images and has adjustable LED lights. Here are some pictures of a fish jaw from the Cretaceous of Texas with different bracket sections up to the maximum magnification. xonenine
fantastic job Bob, mine is retrofitted into a Microsoft qx3 microscope stand, they really benefit from a little beefing up, and focus alot better in the stands "Your serpent of Egypt is bred now of your mud by the operation of your sun; so is your crocodile." JohnJ
Great adaptation, Bob. I love seeing the details. The human mind has the ability to believe anything is true. - JJ
