NSRhunter
Not very far at all. Many cretaceous shark tooth sites around the DFW Metroplex. Two common ones are the North Slphur River near Ladonia and Post Oak Creek near Sherman. These shark teeth were from Post Oak Creek. Happy hunting! By the way i love the meg you have pictured! Jarrettharp
Thanks for the reply nrshunter ...and lol @ pumpkinhead....before joining this page I was told that Texas didn't yield good teeth...and I am now aware that this is not true...clearly there is some pretty stuff out there and arrowheads as well...😁..I'm stoke that if the move goes thru I won't have to give up this hobby...and the meg was found by my uncle...there used to be a spot near us that produced tons of Meg's and a a variety of shark teeth and mammals...it's built on now but still yields a few teeth here and there..no Meg's since the homes went up..found these after a 2 day rain
Ptychodus04
There are no good fossils in Texas, don't waste your time looking.
