bcfossilcollector
A very interesting site thats yeilded some beautiful plant fossils. I'm referring to the McAbee fossil beds. I think its been closed to collecting since 2012.
Ridgehiker
Yes, a great site and also was a nice outing...camping, etc. There are probably many sites in the general area if one is vigilant. Just north of Macabee is the Joseph Creek area...same age, etc. I actually found it more productive. I wasn't even at 'the' Joseph Creek site but sampled some layers along the creek. bcfossilcollector
Re:Joseph Creek area. I have not been there yet but I've heard really interesting descriptions of the area from friends who have.
