robinrwolf
Found in the Cimarron River in Kingfisher County, OK. 25" tip to tip on his horns, 26.5" from top of skull to tip of nose. I would like more info on what he is, Antiquus, Occidentalis, or B.Bison.
JohnJ
It's a beauty. Identification of bison skulls can be difficult if it is not your specialty...and it's not mine. However, downloading this PDF and comparing measurements might get you closer to an ID. ZiggieCie
Nice skull, I hope it is an older one.
jpevahouse
Bison skull from the historic era 1860 - 1900. Bison antiquus was larger than the modern buffalo with broader horns. Also, the condition just looks too good to be old enough an antiquus.
