snakebite6769
My girlfriend and I went collecting in Illinois a few months ago and just got to unpacking the last of our finds from there. I grabbed this thinking it looked like a flower. But I know it's not, lol. I was hoping someone on here may have some insight on what it could be. I found some calymene and isotelus trilo fragments in the same layer where this came from...western side of Illinois near the Iowa border.
