I found this fossil in Lourinhã, Portugal...I haven't many info, because I found it in a field where it turns out debris.

Can someone help me?

The luster on the inside would lead Me to think it is a modern gastropod, and not a fossil.

How far is the field where You found it from the ocean?

I'm not certainly...It is on top of a cliff...About 50m above the level of the sea and 70m of distance. It was the only that I found in the middle of some bivalve fossils.

I think as a rule if something that looks like this is a fossil they will be quite common and well known in the area.

In my opinion, is a well predated modern gastropod. :)

looks to me like a gastropod from the Pliocene/Pleistocene age with a leached calcium deposit on it.
