everydayvagaries
Hi, I'm a new user, and I was looking for fossils at a road cut between Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati yesterday. Most of them were fossilized shells and various types of bryozoa, but we found one larger piece that we couldn't figure out. It's not visible from the back of the rock. Does anyone have any ideas? Herb
looks like bryozoan to me. Ludwigia
Me too, but it has a pretty unusual form. Greetings from the Lake of Constance. Roger http://www.steinkern.de/
BobWill
Part of it has some vague symmetry but not anything I recognize. It may be incrusted with bryozoans or just have an odd texture. Could it be cartilage? Edited August 18, 2015 by BobWill
