From the great state of Montana a rare and unusual dinosaur find from the Two Medicine Formation. Not yet described but I can expect that at any moment. :fingers crossed:

Let me introduce Pooasaurus boneri :yay-smiley-1:

At 16 cm across a fabulous coprolite on bone.

My favorite tooth would have to be my Ceratosaurus. Always has been my favorite.

My Spinosaurus Foot Claw is probably up there among my favorites. Not as impressive as some of my other fossils, but it is from one of my favorite dinosaurs. I guess my other would be my Atlasaurus Femur. Again not the most impressive, but from a fantastic dinosaur.

Not my favorite tooth but definitely one of my best, my Allosaurus tooth. Thought a few of you would like to see it. It's roughly 3 and a half inches.

This is not just my best, but also my only dinosaur fossil. Dino fossils are extremely rare here in eastern North Carolina and I was super excited to find this. ( Have a separate post on it, just found it on the 11th)

Beautiful fossils all around!

Nice stuff Andy, haven't seem a Citipati egg yet. Nice job!

Honestly, it's most likely not a Citipati egg, more that large Oviraptorid eggs are given that common name since it's snarge near impossible to assign a genus to eggs unless you find them associated with the dinosaur. It's more accurate to call it an Elongatoolithus egg.

Here are mine.. My Carcharodontosaurus tooth collection.

Beautiful! Hoping to own my large Carch one day.

Looking forward to meeting my fellow Singaporean collectors! Do PM me if you are a Singaporean, or an overseas fossil-collector coming here for a holiday!

' Best' has several meanings.

Those of us fortunate to live in areas of Formations with Dino fossils most likely have a different concept of 'best '. I get more of a thrill finding an obscure micro vertebrate tooth than a Tyrannosaurid tooth. It would be the same for those where shark teeth are common...they are on the look out for the unusual as much as for the show piece.

Hard to choose one that has visual appeal...a horn, scute, jaw.? Sometimes it's the texture of a bone, or the colour. Sometimes it's lining up a row of vertebrae or assembling a foot.

It's still a beautiful egg, is Elongatoolithus a type of egg? Haven't heard it before.
