Is This Trilobite Real?

Recommended Posts

Pictures are WAAAYYYY to small to make that kind of determination.

Many Cambropallas trilos from Morocco are heavily re-constructed, or entirely fake. They can be pieced together from different fossils, or carved/molded to look complete.

If it were my money, I'd skip it.

If it is one you are buying, I would say maybe 25-30 bucks.

And the seller should be asked if it is composited, refurbished.

But it sure looks hinky to me. <_<
