Kosmoceratops Wip

I've started to sculpt a kosmoceratops for an art class. I would like to make it as accurate as possible and consistent with current science. Can some dinosaur experts give some pointers on anatomy?

Very nice. I'm sure you are working off an photo of a recreation of one. The only thing that struck me was the tail was not right, to short. Here is an image to show you what I mean. You have good talent,

Edit: don't forget to show us the finished product

Maybe add some more meat to the legs?

Very nice sculpture how large is it, what is it made of and finally how long will it take you to make from start to finish.

Looks good, I agree with the leg and tail adjustments, I also personally think that the neck could use a little more meat.

The Kosmoceratops is (finally) done being sculpted! The scales are based on triceratops skin impressions, but the quills are speculative and based on psittacosaurus. The quills are much stubbier than on psittacosaurus and more closely match the large scutes in the skin impressions of larger ceratopsians. Thoughts?

Now it is time to paint the Kosmoceratops. I know we can determine the color of fossilized feathers, but I have never heard of doing the same with fossilized scales. What does the fossil forum think would be a realistic color pattern for a Kosmoceratops?
