Based on the lines in the bone and overall structure, I would go with an Enchodus jaw segment. The part you are holding in your hand looks like what would be the base of the tooth (they are often found broken off, consistent with yours). Nice find!

By the way, I saw your other post; you have some awesome baculites there! I really want to dig the North Sulfer myself someday!
