Hello,

Finally I recieved my first package from a trade. This one is from Kasia.

It differs from amber to small pieces of Trilobites, Grapholites and corals till Pleistocene Mammals.

Curious what is to be found in the bag with matrix!

Thanks Kasia for the nice trade!

I have never done a blind trade before, but the fossils on here are really cool. Would anyone in the US be interested in doing a blind trade?

I am low on fossil stock at the moment. If you are not in a hurry I might be able to muster up some goodies after the snow melts a bit here.

I'd be interested in doing an international trade, if you are interested. I have invert material from the Western US, California mostly. Since I'm relatively new, I'd also be willing to send first and make sure you receive my items before sending yours.

Hi,

Great! I'm up for it! Do we agree on a number of items? For instance 15 or something.

Do you have things you like most? I'm mainly a ammonite collector but have many echinoids too. Of course I have plenty of other stuff like pleistocene mammal material and tertiary molluscs. I love to prepare raw material!  Do you want prepared or unprepared material, or both?

And do you realize that international shipping is not cheap? It will set you back 50 dollars or so!

Greetings Walter

15 sounds doable. I did look up the costs for international shipping but I'm willing to try it at least once. My motivation is our club has a regular raffle from donated fossils. The proceeds of the raffle support the LA County Science Fair, which some members volunteer to judge and we provide prizes for. Since the material I donate is local, I'm sure there's some fatigue on the items. My idea is if I trade the items I usually donate for more exotic items (anything from outside Western US would be great), it might spur some more raffle ticket sales.  Since I'm new at this, one option is for me to send my items first and you can then decide what would be a fair trade for those,

Thanks :) I’ll write that down as Sparus aff.cinctus

@fifbrindacier yes hopefully, i think you will Like it :) I have one question, for the pristiophorus teeth, what makes them different from the regular sand tiger sharks teeth, as to me they just look like the blades of an odontaspidae of some sort
