Coryander
Dear friends, I found this on a beach in Algarve, Portugal. There is a Bivalve, but seems to me like there is also a part of a fish bone. What do you think? Please note: both pictures are from the same fossil. Thank you.
Troodon
This is Miocene so that shell may be a scallop, pectinid sp. Edited August 31, 2015 by Troodon

Guguita2104
Just a question Troodon: Pectinidae genus is the same than Pecten genus, isn't it?
Auspex
Just a question Troodon: Pectinidae genus is the same than Pecten genus, isn't it? Pectinidae is the family, a pectinid is a member of that family. Coryander
Forgive me to insist, but I'd like to know what is in the arrows. Is it a fish bone, or a bivalve?
