Could this be the top of a horsetail plant? It has the characteristics of some that I have seen... but a bit longer. Also interesting, not sure about this one either.

Could be, perhaps. Interestingly enough, this would then be the first sphenophyte remains from Sherry, right?... at least, for as far as I recall...

Searching for green in the dark grey.

She has found a couple like this. I thought they were sphenophytes, but might have been wrong.

But these were the only sphenophytes I've seen, so they are very rare in this flora.

The cone may likely be from another type of plant altogether.
