It may be too beat up to give it a name. Does anyone recognize it?

Found in the Ouachita River which is I think is Cretaceous and Tertiary both.

I have it posted on my site but would sure like to have a name if possible.

i would say fish... but thats just a guess

It almost looks like a barracuda tooth, but not flat enough, and the indention might be too prominent. Hard to tell in photo and no size scale included.
