Brachiopod?

it's not fossil, it's not mine, and it's still alive. Don't be mad at me for posting non fossil material intentionally here, but I figure you are a knowledgeable bunch and maybe could figure out what this animal is, at least limit it to a few genus of animals. So long story short I was casually doing my identifications of live rock/ marine aquarium hitchhikers, and out of nowhere this mystery animal comes in, it has those funny shells on it and they said that the animal is anchored very powerfully on the rock, I couldn't identify it, maybe you mollusk and brachiopod experts can help?post-19785-0-84887600-1444007733_thumb.jpgpost-19785-0-66473000-1444007750_thumb.jpg

I can't help on the ID, the pictures are king of foggy. I would lean towards some kind of mussel or oyster. But i wanted to say that I also have a reef tank. I once bought 5 pounds or so of live rock, and when I took it home - at least 80% of the "rock" was actually large coralline encrusted bivalves. The local fish shop gave me some new rock though. :)
