Nice collection, Indians in your neighborhood were heavy into clay beads. Haven't found any in E.Texas but have bone and glass trade beads from along the Red River

I believe the term "indian beads" is regional for what are actually crinoid sections.

Yes, you are correct. I've collected all my life, I'm 28 but don't know about them ;)

If You can take some close up pictures somebody may be able to give a better ideal as to the true identity. You will get a better response in the ID section, so post there.

That being said I think that some may be true beads, but it is hard to tell with this picture.

It must have taken a bit of patience and time to lay all those out so neatly! I appreciate the effort you put into showing them to us :)
