Well, its been quite some time since ive found any tippy tippy's, but this little beauty looks to have 4 or them!!! WoooooooHoooooooo!!! But like all crabs it has problems but with this crab I think I can live with them. I still have a long ways to go but I will try and get it finished up in a few days. I am quite happy with this little bugger!!!

Oh, take a look at the first leg on the left. Looks to be a regenerated leg? If so, just cooler than you know what!!! Wooooop!!! Wooooop!!!

That's another great crab you've been working on. Congratulations on finding (and carefully exposing!) those delicate tips. Not much meat in the tips, though. I would love to see it when it's done, it's already terrific. I like seeing the in-between stages too. Thanks for all your posts.

Start the day with a smile and get it over with.

Those are for picking your teeth after you eat the crab. Or, if you're a Three Stooges fan... that's the best part to eat.

Very cool RB, that will look great once you're done with it.

I figured that a crab this gorgeous should have a bigger picture to show it off. :)

Well RB, I think you may have found one of those few crabbies that has all of its legs and probably has em allllll the way to the tippie tips. Almost perfect...eh?

Beautiful!

It's striking a rather nice pose too :-)

Is it common for the pincers to be away from the front of the carapace with these guys?

It seems to be rare for Tumidos, it's common for them to have the claws tucked in closely to the front - which makes prepping this area a challenge.
