Even though I can't tell what this fossil is, you might benefit from enlisting the help of Mark Wilson of the College of Wooster, if that's close to you. He is always very willing to help and loves fossils.

Thank you Bill, and I have already been in contact with Mark, but he said he is not able to be of any assistance with plant fossils.
