Fruitbat Posted April 9, 2009 Share Posted April 9, 2009 When considering 'absolute' ages as determined by radiometric dating methods it is important to remember that each method has its own built-in margin of error or requires an estimated calibration scale so that 'absolute' dates are really date RANGES rather than pinpointed time periods. -Joe PS...I see that others have already pointed this out so you can safely ignore this post!
