Shellseeker
Been a little hectic in trips -- I can get measurements and other photos if necessary. Thanks for all responses. calhounensis
If my eyes aren't mistaken, I believe the toe bone belongs to a Xenarthran.
garyc
If my eyes aren't mistaken, I believe the toe bone belongs to a Xenarthran. I agree. Seems a little small for sloth and I have no idea what glyptodon or armadillo toes look like. This seems close..... http://www.thefossilforum.com/index.php?/gallery/image/7492-smaller-sloth-medail-phalanx/
Shellseeker
Thanks to both Cal and Gary!!! Have been finding material from all 3 (Sloth, Armadillo, and Glyptodon) at this location. Just based on size, I am thinking Armadillo.
