Hi, I was just wondering what was considered large for a single Edestus heinrichi tooth. I have recently bought one and it was around 1.6" wide. It was labeled as being big, but I just wanted another more experienced opinion on it. Thanks for your time.

I would have to agree with big at least compared to the ones in my collection. Measured the crowns in two different "tooth whorls" comparable to your specimen one was 3/4" and the largest in the other was 1 1/4".

I only WISH that I had a few Edestus teeth to measure. :envy: Cmon,  Photos , photos, photos!!!!!!
